The Southern Pine Inspection Bureau is fully accredited by both the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) and the International Accreditation Service (IAS) for the inspection and analysis of treated wood products.

For treated wood products manufactured and labeled according to specifications outlined in the consensus-based American Wood Protection Association's (AWPA) Book of Standards, the SPIB Treated Wood Quality Audit Program is accredited through the ALSC. The ALSC provides overview of third-party inspection agencies as they monitor internal quality control of treated wood manufacturing facilities. ALSC maintains a Treated Wood Facsimile List that provides documentation and information regarding SPIB's approvals to perform treated wood inspections and laboratory analyses. For treated wood products manufactured and labeled according to specifications outlined in various International Code Council's (ICC) Evaluation Service Reports, the SPIB Treated Wood Quality Audit Program is accredited through the International Accreditation Service (IAS).

IAS Certificate of Accreditation AA-680 and IAS Certificate of Accreditation TL-365 document the SPIB's compliance with ISO/IEC Standards.
